So it's been a few weeks since my last post and to be honest I don't really know where to start! For those of you who have kept up with my Instagram you would know I have been here, there and everywhere through Europe! However most days I have been so busy exploring that I have been left with little time to blogpost and the very unstable wifi connections at the places I've stayed haven't helped! So let's see where I left off! Valencia! From Valencia I travelled to Barcelona...
The train travel to Barcelona was an experience on it's own...not in a bad way more in an embarrassing way! So after realizing at midnight before I had to be at the the station at 7am not 10am to catch the train. Needless to say I arrived at the station tired and ready to catch some zzz's! Once set up on the train with travel pillow, beats headphones, iPod, and sunglasses I was off to lala land. Only to be woken up an hour into my trip by the Spanish dude sitting beside me, because I was pulling on 'his' beats headphone cord...thinking it was my own. He smiled at me and asked in broken english if it was ok if he could listen to a song that was playing, as it was his favourite. He didn't seem to mind that I had been doing it for the past 20 minutes. Um embarrassing! I decided it was best to stay awake for the rest of the trip and I'm so glad I did, because the train ride was beautiful and in places took me out over the water and the cliff tops of Spain.
Not the best of photos as my phone was a little blurry as were my tired eyes...but here is how close the rail line between Valencia to Barcelona comes to the ocean.
