Shaking the hands of people has become a part of daily routine in my career path. Whilst the industry I work in is still very male dominated, when I'm outstretching my hand to meet in unison with a Client, Contractor or Associate, I always ensure I have a firm grasp (that whole woman in a Man's world type grasp) and of course decorative nails!
